Former
World Championship Rider As You've never seen him before
Steve Parrish,
TV presenter and former World motorcycle championship
rider, will host a series of interactive forums at Event
solutions-Live this year. Steve, probably best known for
his role as a presenter for the BBC’s coverage of
the Moto GP and for Race bike tests for Eurosport, will
be the facilitator with a panel of event experts from
the industry.
The panel will include Robin Carlisle, Mobile Promotions;
Simon Pauffley, MP Event Trailers and Roka UK, Nick Edwards
from Losberger and Ian Schofield from Sodexho Prestige.
Along with Steve, the panel will encourage you to take
an alternative look at the way you organise and manage
your events. The sessions are planned to be wholly interactive
- almost like self-help sessions - with the panelists
jointly providing more than a century of industry knowledge
and expertise. Steve’s role will be to keep the
sessions fast paced, interactive and enjoyable to ensure
you get the most from them.
Steve comments: “So many of these types of events
are like my grand prix days - one way traffic. I will
be able to give these informal chats a little bit more
pizzazz and momentum. I’m really looking forward
to them”
Parrish continues: “Our objective is to challenge
your thinking about events and the industry and create
some positive and productive debate. Above all else we
want to retain the informal and friendly environment of
Event Solutions-Live.”
It may be disappointing for some to hear, even with Mercedes-Benz
and smart as the official event fleet supplier for the
show; in spite of five European truck racing titles (since
retiring from motor cycle racing) Steve Parrish will not
be getting behind the wheel to chauffeur guests to the
show!
